Course Instructor
In the heart of Munich, I have led and continue to lead a variety of diverse and thoughtfully designed courses at middle schools and elementary schools.
Technology course
The best way to inspire children is when theory suddenly turns into something they can see, touch, and try out for themselves. That’s exactly why hands-on experiments are an essential part of my lessons. Here are some projects I’ve carried out together with my students.
Electromagnetic train
In the 4th grade, I explained the basics of a magnetic field in a playful way by building an electromagnetic train out of copper wire, magnets and a battery. When the battery was stopped, the current flow was interrupted. However, once the current flowed through the wire to the other side of the battery, a magnetic field was created within the coil, causing the train to move in a similar way to a real train.

Simplest motor in the world
Together with the pupils in the 3rd grade, we built a small electric motor made from the same materials as the electromagnetic train. The copper wire rotates around the battery. The experiment allows the pupils to experience the effect of the Lorentz force at first hand.
Power circuit
In the 6th grade, we learned basic concepts about electricity by working together to build a simple light source out of copper tape and a battery.
3D Design and 3D Printing
Why should the world of engineering only begin at college?
My 8th- and 9th-grade students are developing their own board games and learning to use tools like Bambu Lab to independently turn their ideas into physical objects. To do this, they first draw the design in 3D using TinkerCAD and then convert the file into a format that the 3D printer can read.
Sports course
Soccer and Taekwondo
Physical activity not only reduces stress but also helps build new nerve cells. This happens primarily in the part of the brain responsible for learning and memory. So the best “brain jogging” is actually jogging! If I had to choose between math class and physical education for the kids, I’d definitely choose physical education.
